Summer is almost here and with it comes the addition of our newly updated Weekender Plus 2 inflatable SUP. Not only did we make big changes to the original shape, dimensions, and features of the board, we also added the ability to transform it into a kayak as well!  After months of dedicated design, development, and testing, we can’t wait for you to try our first hybrid inflatable SUP/Kayak on your next paddling adventure. 

Updated Design: An Overview

Weekender Plus 2 is built with the same optimized shape and dimensions as Weekender 2. With the length of 10’6’’ (increased from our original Weekender’s 10’), you’ll experience more glide on the water while the 32’’ width provides more stability. Overall, our new Weekenders have a higher volume than the previous models, which translates to a higher carrying capacity. 

Weekender’s shape is both playful and super functional. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to find your sea legs while also having room to grow. Its classic all-around shape, rounded nose, and squared off tail make it the perfect board for every occasion… Especially once you start exploring the new features exclusive to Weekender Plus 2! 

New Features

The updated features for Weekender Plus 2 have been designed with optimal rider comfort and performance in mind. Let’s take a closer look. 

Extra Long Deck Pad 

Weekender Plus 2 boasts a super comfy brushed EVA deck pad that extends to the back of the board. All of that extra room makes it even more comfortable to move around the board, as well as providing additional non-slip space for any extra passengers on board. 

Storage

Like Weekender 2, Weekender Plus 2 offers a generous 6 point bungee storage system at the front of the board. The Plus model also provides an additional 4 point bungee system at the rear, for any extra equipment or necessities (don’t forget to use sunscreen and stay hydrated!) while you’re on the water. 

Grab Handles

3 conveniently located grab handles will make it super easy to transport and move your board. A center grab handle is perfect for a side-carry, while nose and tail grab handles make for seamless put-ins and take-outs. 

Front Action Mount

Now you can document all of your water adventures with the front action mount! This mount uses a standard ¼’’ thread. 

Paddle Holders

Our side-mounted paddle holders will keep your paddle secure and out of the way so that you can lounge, fish, and take a dip without worrying about your paddle’s whereabouts!

AerComfort Seat 

Had enough of standing and ready to take a seat? We are thrilled to be introducing our AerComfort Seat. Using AerGlide-Lite dropstitch technology, this seat is inflated using the same pump as the board, has a supportive and adjustable backrest, a cushy EVA seat pad, an extra pocket in back, and a water bottle holder in front. Thoughtfully designed to provide extra elevation for hip and low back comfort, the AerComfort Seat is perfect for both relaxing and paddling. 

Convertible Paddle

For a quick conversion from SUP to kayak paddle, simply swap out your SUP T-grip handle for the extra paddle blade included in your kit and voila! You’re ready to go! 

EasyLink Connection System

This is where the magic happens. Weekender Plus is equipped with our 4-point EasyLink Connection System. Designed for exceptional ease of use while ensuring maximum security, the EasyLink Connection System takes just moments to attach our AerComfort Seat. 

Plus All the Good Stuff…

Use the rear D-ring to stay safely secured to the board by attaching the included 10’ coiled leash. 3 detachable fins help the board maintain stability and tracking, and the adjustable 3-piece paddle accommodates a wide range of rider heights. All of this, plus a dual action pump, waterproof phone case, and repair kit conveniently pack up into our freshly updated rucksack, ready to travel with you anywhere!  

New Construction

Coming in at only 23 lbs, this board features a more rugged construction – our ultra-durable and super rigid AerGlide-Fusion technology utilizes a dual-layer, reinforced outer skin. Within this airtight, tough exterior are tens of thousands of polyester fibers, the drop stitch core. These fibers make the board extremely stiff, withstanding pressures up to 15 PSI, and help make the board puncture-resistant. Performance is further enhanced by our dual rail overlay, where two layers of 1000 denier PVC fabric provide extra protection and rigidity. While the recommended pressure for Weekender Plus 2 is 12 PSI, it can comfortably withstand up to 15 PSI. For those who want to save their energy for the water, inflating the board can be even easier and you can dial in exact PSI by using an electric pump.
